How FactCrumbs works

FactCrumbs answers everyday science and history questions in short pages that trace each answer to a checkable source.

Sources

Each page lists the sources behind it, with links. Most come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, Britannica, and peer-reviewed papers on PubMed, PLOS, Nature and Science.

Dates and corrections

Every page shows when it was last updated. If something is wrong, write to contact@factcrumbs.com with the page address and what looks off. Confirmed errors get fixed.

Ads and money

Pages carry display ads. No page is sponsored, and advertisers do not see or approve pages before they run. The Privacy page lists the advertising and analytics services the site uses.
